Hiya Fxhome just a question about your own movie. What software have you used. I have to say i'm waiting to see like everyone else what you come up with and hope fracture becomes available at least on dvd rather than some free thing on Youtube. One worry is though I'm waiting to see if what you do with Fracture is with your own software or you end up cheating and using after effects. So just wondering what you guys have been using? maybe your using a new piece of software that is top secret either way you could say we are using top secret stuff lol made by fx home. I think it would be a great marketing tool for any new software if that is the case.

For the most part, I think the various effects artists are using whatever software they are most comfortable with personally, so there is a range of stuff being used. Especially as a lot of the work requires 3D, which none of the FXhome line can handle, there will be a fair bit of third party software involved.

Fracture isn't intended as a showcase for our software, but as a showcase for our community. FXhome's involvement was to fund the creation of the film, enabling a wide variety of people to come together from the website to make the movie.

Hence Ashman, Sketchwork and Redhawk were on the crew in various roles, and many FXhomers have been involved in the post-production.

We haven't finalised exactly how the film will be released yet. However, we do have a good amount of behind-the-scenes stuff that hasn't been seen at all yet.
