This is probably a silly Q but but I need a A . can I convert a composite lab project to a Effects lab project ? I want to do that so I can save room on my computer . Please answer if that is OK ?

No you cannot.

The two programs use entirely different filters and engines (with some overlap), and aren't capable of doing the same things. Also, the project files only take up small amounts of memory, so won't save you much space anyway.
