Can anyone be so kind as to make me a plugin or two?

My friend and I are in the process of making some John Woo-esque type films and we need plugins of:

- some white doves taking flight from the ground
- a single dove flapping it's wings as if in flight (perhaps a 3D model?)
- a small flock of doves in flight (about eight birds)

If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

It is probably possible but I'm not sure how realistic 3D animated birds are going to look - there is also a hassle with what angles to create them from. KermZ

Well, forget the single 3D dove if it really is going to be a hassle. 2D plugins of birds taking flight from the ground and in mid-flight would probably be OK for now.

I'm doing Woo stuff. I was going to ask for some doves or something as well. I really have to see your film when it's done, have you ever seen his hong kong films?

Love ya user ID! A Woo reference?

Yeah, I've seen A BETTER TOMORROW and HARD BOILED and I'm on the look out for THE KILLER on DVD.

We've made one Woo-esque film based on HARD TARGET and we called it GUN HUNT. I am eager to show people as I spent a lot of time editing it. I even went as far as ripping that cool gun sound effect from the DVD - the one that you hear when Van Damme fires his gun. It's great, and the film's pretty decent too. No real decent plot, just an excuse to show people being shot 30 times by one gun without reloading!

How can I get it to you?

Yeah the ID is a Woo reference. www.hongkonglegends.co.uk are the best hong kong release site, They recently brought out "The Killer" on DVD. It is a fantastic film. I don't know exctly how you can get your film to me, but we'll figure something out. My film is about a vigilante fighting an assassin it's very similar to "The Killer" There's some crazy plot twists and some fantastic shootouts (the bodycount is into 3 figures). I'l see if I can put it on the internet when it's done. The problem is it's quite long, so it'll have to be scene by scene. Hope to see your stuff. And now a little bald, round headed Chow Yun-Fat. cool

How many people did you use to shoot your film to get over a hundred body count?!

I don't make many proper films, I usually just film a fight scene with no plot or a short action film like GUN HUNT. If you look at my website, you can see which films are out on VCD to get from me. They are VERY professional looking and the films are really good. Lemme know what you think of them!

My first films were just random fights, but the fights are always twice as good if there's a plot to go with them, so I can't stop myself thinking up a clever plot despite the fact that, that wastes time. A hundred plus bodycount takes a lot of planning, very heavy storyboarding, and a very cunning camera work, do it properly and you can use only around 4 actors, plus 1 camera guy. This only works if the extras who get killed have their faces covered. Throughout the film numerous gangsters get cut down, they wore suits and would either be out of range of the camera, filmed from behind or whatever. Except at the end when there's hundreds of guards in this building. All the guards would dress the same ie. all in black. So people don't say "well the bloke in the blue jeans and whit shirt has died 12 times in the past 3 seconds" They can tell it's the same actors as I wouldn't have access to that many people but seeing as they're all dressed the same with balaclavas on there is no proof to suggest we didn't use that many extras. Clever eh.
