Hi all this is my first post here.

I want to add muzzle flashes and other effects to a movie I made. The movie is in a widescreen resoloution when I import it and it looks widescreen in the FXlab pro working screen, but when I render it it comes out in a square resolution. I've tried a few things like changing the project preferences when you first load the movie but nothing seems to help.

Thanks in advance.

What are the project preferences you were using?

Sounds like you just need to set the rendered video to 16:9 widescreen in your editor. It's probably not recognising it as anamorphic widescreen.
