Recently when I try to move a chosen object, the central handle will often not drag the other handles with it - although the exterior handles themselves respond when dragged.
I reinstalled the programme as per instructions but the error still usually happens.
Occassionally it will start to work, then not again.
If I start new SFX work from scratch the handles work fine.

I suspect my file is corrupt - SAVE AS does not solve the problem.
I use 32 bit windows 7 and the latest Direct X etc...
Any pointers, anyone?

What kind of resolution are you working at? Is you quad starting in the middle, or is it off the canvas?

What's the resolution of the project you're working on?

Hi.
Format was Pal DV 720 x 576 - Also, I've noticed if I open a new project, then close it and re-open the dodgy project, it can sometimes correct the problem.

How often does this happen? Do you know what might cause it to happen on occasions when it does? It's not something I recall ever noticing...and I've used VisionLab a lot. smile

Hi.
It doesn't seem to happen with any of my DV footage, just with photos that I'm trying to manipulate into backgrounds for the SFX work I'm currently doing.
I used the photo seetings when setting up the project abnd I find if I go out open a new project and go back in it seems to be ok again for a while.
If the workaround is doing the job, I'm OK with that but it never happened before windows 7.

I'm still on Vista here, so maybe that's why I've not encountered it. Although it would be quite surprising if the OS change could cause a UI change like that.

What resolution are the background images?
