They aren't where? Where are you looking for them, and what OS are you on? The exact install location varies from one OS to another.
On the Mac OS, for example, they should install to:
HD/Library/Application Support/FXhome/FXhome PhotoKey 3 Pro/Sample Images/Overlay
I believe they live in a Program Files folder in recent versions of Windows, I think it is something like:
C:\Program Files\FXhome PhotoKey 3 Pro\Overlay
Once we confirm that that is the location you are looking for them, and they are absent, we can proceed, though my first suggestion would be to re-install.

I have Mac, I have went to the location you have shown and have found them. Do I have to go through those steps everytime I want to use one? How do I bring them into the program itself so that I just select change and they are all shown? Same with backgrounds?

The program will remember the last location you imported overlays from and automatically open to it next time. Same with the backgrounds and foregrounds.

Thank you for your help, one more question how is the best way to print instructions on this program so that I might learn how to use it correctly since so far I have been hitting a picking method. Thanks again.

The best way to learn the program is to use the series of video tutorials
that covers every aspect of the software. You can access the manual from the help menu, but its not really formatted for printing.

What do you need help with, exactly? Did you purchase a bundle including PhotoKey and some backdrop disks? The only backdrops that install with PhotoKey 3 are the samples found in that folder. If you ordered backdrops along with the software, they will be physically delivered on DVDs. All of the backdrops they offer are high-quality, high-res files, so including them in the download would make it prohibitively large.

axeman, I suspect you may work for the company so one more question. I just purchased one of your background discs to be sent to me. I did not get the serial so that I could enter and use it right away, Can you help me?

Well, I work with the company, but I'm physically about 8,000 miles away. You don't need a serial for the backdrop disks though, they are just a disk of images. You can copy the images onto any drive you want once you receive the disk, then access them just like any other images.
If you were thinking you would get a serial for instant download, sorry, there isn't a download option on the backdrops, due to file size. They are only available for physical download.

This posting saves me the time of asking as I was going to, lol. However, I do think that FX might make more immediate sales if they were to allow for downloading of the image bundles. Even though the files may be big, why not just bundle them into ZIP or RAR folders and the user can then open and expand the files themselves?
I've seen many bundles that I'd like to purchase, but didn't do so because I was longing to have them right way. Is there any way I can get some backgrounds immediately? I purchased a whole slew of them on Eaby, but many of them are either way too Photoshoppy or just kind of juvenile compared to the bundles I see here on the FX site.

Thanks! As the creator of the backdrops offered here at FXhome, I'm pleased to hear you find the quality superior when compared to some of the competition.
With the high-resolution TIFF files we use to ensure quality, even some of the .zip files would be over 1 GB. Its not my call whether they are made available for download, that's up to the team at the office, but I think bandwidth is a significant concern. Even the smallest backdrop packs zip to around 500 MB. But, I'll mention it to them.

Axemen; no need for thanks here. Your work is simply wonderful! The thanks are coming from me because I get to use them and that makes people think that I'm wonderful, lol.
I've purchased products on quite a few occassions that were on disc and they amounted to more than a gig also. I guess I'm just trying to find a quick fix for my photo editing addiction.
Do you by chance do any of the TubeTape backgrounds too?

Tubetape offers some of the FXhome backgrounds, but other than that, no. All the backgrounds I've done are available here on this site.
I guess the thing to do is order the disks right away, then in the future, when you need the backgrounds, they will be immediately to hand.
