Quicktime issue

i was trying 2 save a piece of work that has 3 video layers. when i started 2 render a pop up box said "failed to initialise quicktime media layer"...what did i do wrong? can someone help me

It could be worth reinstalling Quicktime just to be sure there are no problems with that software.
