A couple of additions that would make FXHome the best.

I have been playing around with motion tracking stuff and as FXLab Pro doesn't actually have the ability to track objects, it could be an idea if it could incorporate tracking solutions made in Syntheyes or PFHoe, both great programs, and this would make EffectsLab or Vision Lab some of the best available.
What are your thoughts on this?

PS: I'm not saying that this software is bad, it's fantastic, but incorporating this would take it to the next level.

I have the same thought, If fxhome add a few things like 3d camaras inside the proyect, font text, motion traking to Visionlab, they will passed to be the best, to the best ever.

There's already a thread suggesting motion tracking just 3 threads down from this one in the forum. In addition, motion tracking is by far the most suggested feature in the Official Suggestion Collector Thread for product suggestions.

So you aren't alone in wanting to see some sort of tracking abilities. It would indeed be awesome.

As far as AVCHD, adding it would certainly make for greater compatibility, but AVCHD is a capturing/playback codec, and was never intended for editing. Even in software with AVCHD compatibility, you should transcodec to a quality intermediate codec for editing, as AVCHD compresses too heavily to be a good choice for editing purposes. It also uses a compression technique whereby areas of multiple frames are compressed together (called temporal compression), rather than each frame being compressed separately, which makes it harder for editing software to work with. I'm not saying that FXhome shouldn't add it, but I am saying that whether they do or not, you shouldn't use it for editing, at least on projects where retaining maximum image quality is important.

We've used SynthEyes here at FXhome and it's a great piece of software. Text is also something that has been requested a few times and would indeed be a great addition to future video products - it's already made an appearance in the PhotoKey products, of course.

Let's just say...we take careful note of all feedback and suggestions...

Major new features such as that wouldn't be in the form of a free update. They'd be more likely to be introduced in a new product, for which there would be upgrade options.

Generally we've always done this:

Updates - fixes, small improvements, tweaks, always free.

Upgrades - major new features, redesigns etc, paid-for.

There are a few exceptions (the lightning engine being added into VisionLab, for example), but that's generally how we've always done things.

If there would be a new version, whether it be an update to incorporate syntheyes output, that would be fantastic (I doubt this would be in an update though), or a brand new version that would include it's own tracking engine (or again, syntheyes/pfhoe output), I would gladly update my version today lol
It would simply make the best, even better.
