can i add my own background to the "inside building skyscraper" virtual set...instead of using that city scene?

Can you provide a link to the virtual set you are referring to?

Even then, since FXhome doesn't offer any virtual sets at all, it might be best to contact whoever supplies the virtual set you are referring to for that kind of info.

As long as the background you are referring to is a separate layer, though, you should be able to replace it with another layer without any problems in CompositeLab.
