how do i save files on effects lab pro

when i try to save a file all i can save it as is a project.please help!

You need to Render your project.

If you wish to merely Save your project as a .elab file, then you can use the toolbar for this. But if you mean you need to convert your finished project into a .mov or .avi, this process is called Rendering. To render your project, simply look under the Render section of the toolbar.

A few things to be aware of before you render your movie:

- Make sure you have the in and out frames set to the correct places

- Rendering can take up a lot of space on yout computer, so make sure you have a considerable amount of memory free before you begin

- Rendering takes time. Be prepared to leave your PC on for a while.
