Ok, I know that to make anything to do with particles can be made to look like it's coming at the screen by increasing the angle range. How can I do this with lightning or lasers? Oh and mabey neon light...

Fortunately, the laser engine has a perspective selection that you can switch on and off. It shortens the effect, and makes it look more like it's coming towards the camera. So you could try experimenting with that.

The neon engine seems relatively simple. Simply animate it (whether it's 4 point or freehand) to grow as it comes closer to the camera.

The lightning engine allows you to adjust the thickness of both ends of the bolt. So simply animate the end coming towards the camera to thicken as it gets closer.

I'm no expert, but I hope this helps smile
