I just tried to register vision lab studios to my computer and the serial number on the box is saying that its a serial number to Photo Key Elements and not Vision Lab. What's the deal here???

Also I have done alot of work on the Demo Trial version of Visionlab and was wonder if that work will carry over to the real version and export without the demo sign on the footage???

As its the weekend, you'll have to wait for the team to get back into the office to sort out any serial issues. Where did you purchase the box? You might be able to contact your retailer, if you didn't buy directly from FXhome.com, and have them sort it out, if they gave you the wrong serial. Because if you purchase from any retailer other than FXhome, the retailer will handle the serials themselves.

Otherwise, submit a ticket in the Support area, and wait to hear back from the FXhome crew after they get back in the office tomorrow.

As far as the transfer, any projects you save in the demo will be fully compatible with the full version, so you can open them up there and continue working on them.

The demo and the full version use completely different installers, so they won't cause any conflict with one another. Can you elaborate on the "my demo won't work" bit of that last post? How isn't it working? What happens?

If you launch the demo version, then open the file, it gives you a registration screen? This seems unlikely. There is no way to register from the demo, as the full version uses a completely different installer.

You have to be launching the full version in order to get a registration screen.

I suspect the full version installer replaced the demo installation, if they were installed to the same location. You can always uninstall the full version and reinstall the demo until your serial code issue is resolved.
