Here are the results of the first AlamDV2 competition!

After much deliberation, we have decided that Ben and Raider both deserve recognition for their efforts and achievements. Consequently the competition is a draw, and they will both receive their share of the prizes.

The lucky duo will both receive a top-class optical computer mouse, an acclaimed book about filmmaking and a signed, boxed copy of AlamDV2 when it is released. Congratulations to both of 'em. biggrin

Ben's Super Happy AlamDV Movie had inventive visual concepts linked smoothly from one to another in a snappy and funny trailer that combined many different techniques.

Raider's AlamDVPromo featured a large number of effects depicted in a clever 'before and after' style that explored many of AlamDV2's features to the max.

Congratulations to both Ben and Raider - who knows what they'll come up with next?

Lastly, we know that many more of you were working on trailers but were beaten by the tight time limit. Please still submit these to the cinema section, as I'm sure everyone would very much like to see them. They may even still be used in future promotional material.

It's great that you're sharing the spoils - both of you truly deserve some reward! biggrin Ben's entry was much more slick and polished but Raider's captured the 'home-movie' aspect of AlamDV2 more effectively. Two thumbs up for both of ya...

... err, that means a total of 4 thumbs which I don't have... someone loan me a pair of thumbs lol

This is an important time for CSB-Digital and the community – with AlamDV2 being released on CD in September, things are really going to start going crazy. Once the new users start arriving you'll all have the chance to show why you've earned all those Force points.
As we are in October, is the AlamDV CD really out ?

Hey everyone,

I love the bullet time effects, but they don't look much like the one's in the Matrix. The bullet time core is much too complicated and takes too much time to use. The other bullet time effect is too fast and too big. I hate to complain, because these are great effects, but could someone make a bullet time trail that looks like the one in the movie? I think the best example is when Neo dodges the bullets on the roof top. Thank you so much.
