I have a Sony Cybershot DSC-HX1 that shoots in 1080p HD. But the problem is that the shots are in MP4. I dont beleive that EffectsLab pro takes MP4 shots but if that's possible let me know. I convert the shots to AVI but that takes away all the quality, and kills the HD. Please help me smile Thanks!

EffectsLab will not accept .mp4 footage. It will have to bve converted to either .avi or .mov format.

Both AVI and .mov are entirely capable of supporting HD resolutions, as well as compressing the footage at vastly higher quality settings than your camera used to create it. If your quality or resolution are being degraded, its because of the codec settings you used when converting it to .avi, not due to the .avi format itself.
