Afternoon.

I'm working on another stop motion piece soon and shall be using layer masks to make mouth movements so figures look like they're talking.

Is there anyway I can save a custom mask which I could then import anytime I need it and edit if needed? Would save me a lot of work!

Thank you for any advice you can give me

Cheers

Sure, you can make a preset. Once the mask is completed, make a preset of the layer containing the mask, but when you are filling in all the preset info, remove everything other than the mask, unless there are other bits you want to keep. then you can apply the mask preset to other footage whenever you need to.
