Hi,

Just got the program, but have not been able to figure out how to add any kind of sound to my projects.
For example:

1) Adding a song as background
2) Adding the audio part of a video clip of someone singing or talking
( as I recorded it )
3) Adding voices to video only recording
4) Adding sound effects

Thanks,
Reinaldo

Short answer: you can't.

VisionLab is specifically a visual effects and compositing tool, it doesn't work with audio at all. Any audio work should be handled in your primary video editing program, not in VisionLab, which isn't desinged for that.

Try Audacity. It's free and easy to use. Plus you can use as many tracks and sounds that you need.

Keep in mind Audacity is a sound mixing/editing program (and isn't really meant for mixing, but has mixing capabilities), and it can not add sound to a video. After you finish editing your sound, you export it from whatever sound editor you use, then import it into your NLE, (non-linear editor), such as Windows Movie Maker or iMovie, add sound and Wallah!

Have a wonderful day/night!

Thanks for the Audio information everyone! I will give Audacity a try, plus I do have various other programs.

Thanks again,
