Can FXhome Pro4 use what I know as a sandwich overlay or is this the same as FXhome overlays?

Thanks in advance.

Without knowing what you mean by sandwich overlay, its hard to say for sure whether they are the same.

Overlays in PhotoKey 4 are layers which use Alpha transparency and sit above your foreground image. There is also a Layers toolset in PhotoKey 4, which works similarly to the Overlay toolset, using alpha transparency info, but also allows you to position the layers behind the foreground if you wish to do so.

You can try out the free demo of the software if you want to see exactly how it works.

The new layers feature in PhotoKey 4 is equivalent to what other software calls 'sandwich overlay'. It's a very powerful, flexible feature.
