You may have to re-link the video... or you can just re-import the video into your existing project.
This happens if you accidentally moved the video to another directory in your hard drive or if you re-named it.

Hi there,

did the video show up before or does this happen whenever you import the video file? If it did show before, maybe you moved the original video file, so EffectsLab can't find it anymore. If it doesn't work at all (even if the file has just been added to the project) you might want to try to convert the video to another codec before importing it into EffectsLab.

Regarding English: There are quite a few people on here who aren't native speakers. I don't think anyone has a problem with that. I'm from germany and I hope that I didn't accidentally insult anyone by choosing the wrong words, so far wink

cu,

I'm going to guess that you are using iMovie. If so, this is a known issue. Apple recently changed something in the Intermediate codec used by iMovie, which caused the footage to stop displaying in EffectsLab. You will need to convert the footage to a different codec, or else wait for Apple to fix the problem.

You can export from iMovie to a different codec by using the "Export using Quicktime" option in the Share menu of iMovie.

Well, that is one strange error. Do you know if this is something Apple considers a bug - or could this be something they changed on purpose?

@spydurhank:
So sorry - I promise to work on that wink
