I have been really busy the last few months making a childrens animation, mainly for my son. in 2007 i posted online an animation about a robot cat and a magic ball. its still on my youtube channel if you want to see it and to be honest it absolutly sucks. the animation was poor, the lighting terrible and the 3d/post production work was absolute crap.

My new video is a revision of the original and i like to think i have come a VERY long way. As i said its a little bit of fun meant for your kids, and anyone with a sharp eye will notice the dance sequence is that of a famous scene used in a popular quentin tarrantino film.... and yes i choreographed every movement using video refrence of said film.

anyhow here it is let me know what you think

I really liked, although it wasn't perfect.
Just 2 things: The movements weren't spot on, and REAL actors would have really brought it to life. The models and characters are cool, and very imaginitive.

Hey that's pretty damn good, indeed. This coming from someone with a 3 year old boy so I've seen my fair share of children's programs over the last year or 2.

As for the animation it was very good, and still good compared to actual tv productions. One program I'd say the animations were as good as, if not better, is Fireman Sam. Their animated show has some pretty weak animations in places and I'd say much of your here was better at some points.

I'm sure your little man enjoyed it anyway, might even stick it on for my 2 and I'll give you the verdict lol.

How long did it take you to make, and what programs used may I ask?
