I'm doing a lightsaber fight. First time using FXLite. Anyway, do I do one color (lightsaber) & render the file & then use that file to add my other color (lightsaber)?
Or do I do one color than go back to the first keyframe & start the second color (lightsaber) & then render that file? Please Help Soon. Thanks!

Either way will work. The way I do my lightsabers is;

Add Neon Light to the place I want it to start. Edit the color and other attributes.

Add a second Neon Light effect to the place I want it to start, edit color and other attributes.

Then I key frame one, all the way to the end, go back, switch to the other, and keyframe it.

Then I add clash effects as necessary, then hit the "RAM" button and render it.

Thanks for the tips. How do you do the Clash effect? Is there a tutorial for this?

The clash is a preset in "optics" or whatever the optical category is called.
