Render Error HELPP!

Everytime i try to render a video, the errors Micromedia has stopped working, void, and the weirdest... invalid parameter. ANY IDEAS!?!

Most likely it has to do with the format and/or codec being used somewhere. So, make sure your Quicktime (and DirectX, if you are on Windows) are up to date, then...

1. Have you tried rendering to a different format, in the Render Settings?
2. Does it matter what codec you use?
3. What format and codec is the source video in?

Ill update them and see what happens. But Im not good with codecs and i could care less which one i use.. do you have any suggestions? And if so, what do i do to get them? Also, are you familiar with the error??

The video is in .avi and lemme give some more details. If i onlny take a single pic, it render. but when i takee a greenscreen photo, color difference it, and add a background.. THATS when it wont render. I just want to render it to quicktime.

Also, what is the latest Quicktime and DirectX for Windows 7? (That's what I have.)
