I just bought (ordered) effectslab pro stock footage gore and when I imported it into my footage it went over the footage. Instead of the background disappearing of the stock footage like it usually would on explosions or smoke this one didn't. Is it because the gunshot footage used a white instead of black background?
Is there any way of removing the stock footage gore white background without having to mask for hours and place it on my footage of me pretending to get shot in the head?
Please I really need help on this...

There's no easy way to remove a white background in EffectsLab, sorry. IF you have a proper compositing app, then its quite easy, you just change the composite mode for the clip to Multiply, and the white disappears. But you don't have that option in EffectsLab, as its not meant for compositing.
I recall that there is a workaround which involves inverting the clip, then using the Add blend mode, then inverting it again, but I can't remember the exact specifics of it.

Well thanks for trying to help. I guess I'll try what you said about the inverting and if that doesn't work then I'll just do more research. But thanks anyways.
