Hi,
I was wanting to make a vapor trail from a jet, can I use the particle effects on Visionlab or how to make a good one? If I can use vision lab particles how would you make it? Thanks for everyone that answers this! Thanks, Chad

Yeah, the VisionLab particles should be able to do a good job with that type of effect. If you aren't sure where to start, you might try using a preset similar to the effect you are after as a starting point, then modifying the effect from there to get the results you need.

Those are a few that might get you close, depending what you have in mind, there are probably others in the Smoke category of the FXpreset library as well.

Thanks for the help, I was playing with the particles just like I click in there and a red mass of dots are there and if you play them the dots go up, I was wondering how do you change the dots to other things? Thanks, Chad

That's just a matter of applying textures to the particles. If you go to the Info tab in the panel to the right, the first point is a field with all the textures of the particles. If you created a new effect that should be empty, just click on the folder icon to the top right to select textures from the built in library, or you can use custom textures.
