Whenever I try to export to uncompressed AVI or .h264 mov, the rendering only goes a few frames before I get something like "Runtime Error; the application has requested to terminate the runtime in an unusual way".

How would I overcome this and finish the export?

Are your Quicktime and DirectX up to date? This happens with both formats? Does it matter what codec you choose? Does Quicktime Animation codec work, for example?

Thank you for the response, Axeman.

I have since tried some more things, and it would appear it is whenever I select to have either AVI or MOV exported as uncompressed.

It seems to work if I select something else, like Sorenson video under AVI for example.

However the quality is not quite the same as it would be if it was uncompressed, so I was wondering if anybody had solved this issue before.

Well, using a lossless codec such as Quicktime Animation, will ensure zero quality loss while still offering files a bit smaller than uncompressed, if it will render successfully. However, ideally the uncompressed options will work correctly. Its odd that uncompressed isn't working in either .mov or .avi, I'll have to see what I can come up with as far as a solution for that. Right now I'm not sure what to suggest, other than perhaps a clean re-install.
