Dear Fxhome,
Hello, I just saw the new scifi/action short film "Prism" which was made with the Hitfilm software. I am now convinced into getting the program. However, seeing as I am a Visionlab Studio user, which use to be the "ultimate" fxhome software, will I get a discount if I were to upgrade to Hitfilm? Or will I have to pay the full price?

Sincerely,

Joshua.

Hi Joshua,

You will get a voucher for 40% off HitFilm Ultimate. Click the link in the banner at the very top of this page for more information.

Awesome! Thank you! Just a couple of questions. Why is there two discount vouchers 40% and %20 off? Do you use both or just one? If just one why is there two? Is the other for using on other products on fxhome or only on Hitfilm.com?

The 20% voucher was given to everyone with an FXhome account, whether they had purchased software or not. The 40% voucher was given to everyone who had purchased software from FXhome, ever. You can't use both, unless you want to purchase two copies of HitFilm, so you can have it on two computers at once.

But if one copy will do for you, then you can pass the other voucher on to someone else, give it away, sell it, whatever you want to do. The video they announced the vouchers in really explains everything: http://fxhome.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=45091
