Problem with the render

It has been now three years since I bought EffectsLab and since I used it without any problems.
But recently all the videos that I tried to import from EffectsLab in .avi videos didn't work. When I've finished rendering a video, and when I open it, the video is all black, or an error message appears (it depends if I use a compressor or not).
I tried to import a .mov video (with quick time) but it still didn't work!).
What must I do?
PS: sorry for eventual grammar or orthograph errors, I'm not English!

Would a clean reinstallation help my with this problem?

It woul dbe worth trying, I suppose, as it can't hurt anything. Has anything changed, such as the source of the .avi videos (different camera maybe?) you are using, or have you recently installed or updated any new software or hardware on your system?

Thanks for your answer. I've done the clean reinstall, but the rendered video are still black. The videos that I use come from the same camera, it is exactly the same type of files(.avi).
Well, I donwloaded some softwares, but I don't think any would be capable of preventing Effectslab working (I'll check, though). Does such a sort of software exist, softwares that need to be removed to enable Effectslab to work properly?

Its not quite as straightforward as that, but yes, it is possible for one software title to cause a conflict with another on your computer. If something was previously working well, and now is no longer working, then the first step is usually to find what has changed in the system, as it is very likely that something being changed is what caused it to stop working.

I deleted the files that I've downloaded since the last time I could render a video properly, but it still doesn't work...
Did that thing happen to someone else?
