Too be honest I'm not sure what it is, but I saw this guy on Youtube (freddiew) doing something with motion tracking...I can't remember what video but I will try to find it.

Here it is:

That is something I want to be able to do, shoot someone, have blood come out, and have it stick to the wall.
Is it possible to use motion tracking with Visionlab or would I just have to like keep moving the blood on the same spot as the camera moves, if that makes sense...

Motion tracking software examines the footage frame by frame, marking specific points, then finding them in subsequent frames to see how far and in what direction the camera has moved, to track the movement. Once it is finished, then you can use this info to match-move other elements into your scene, so the appear to have been there all along.

You can't do any kind of motion tracking in VisionLab. However, HitFilm does have the ability to import motion tracking data, so you can take advantage of motion tracking for more accurate composites. It also includes loads of other improvements over VisionLab, and is heavily discounted to VisionLab owners for a limited time, if you use the voucher linked at the top of this page.
