Urgh. I just installed OS X Lion and my copies of CompositeLab Pro and EffectsLab Lite were knocked out of commission with big circles and slashes over their icons; No PPC support in Lion, y'see... What to do.

I'm fairly certain that your Mac-based software is PowerPC only right? What about VisionLab Studio -- same deal?

Woe is me. I'm guess I should just uninstall Lion -- if that's even possible.

Yeah, VisionLOab is in the same boat since Apple decided not to support PowerPC applications any more. You can either use an older version of OS X (perhaps installed to a separate drive or partition), or use BootCamp to run the PC version.

It's always good practice (especially if you have time machine) to back up before installing something as major as an operating system.

Aye, Garrison, and to the Nth power. This can be filed in the "What was (or, rather, wasn't) I thinking" section. I use CompositeLab -- a lot. I'm sure I'll be able to sort something out; I must.
