Which one would be better for use, effectslab or hitfilm? I saw on the hitfilm website that it only says gunfire is available for hitfilm ultimate and hitfilm standard is lacking many features. Is effectslab better than hitfilm standard?

HitFilm Standard is FAR more powerful than EffectsLab Pro and in many ways is more powerful than VisionLab Studio as well. Gunfire is included in Standard.

The best thing to do is try the demo. smile

if your computer doesn't meet the system requirements for hitfilm (like mine sad), i'd get effectslab, unless you have the extra money to update your computer.

I have downloaded the demo but it won't let me start a new project sad Do you know what is wrong? My computer meets the requirements too.

When you say it won't let you, what actually happens? Do you get an error message?

Yes I get an error message but it does not actually tell me what is wrong. It just says "error hitfilm needs to close"

Hi there

Please can you enter a ticket over on HitFilm support, and we will try and figure out what the problem is.
