Hi,

I have a large number of files I have been using with 3pro, and just decided to upgrade to 4pro. Now these files will not open. Is there anyway to get them to work or do I have to start from scratch with them? I really don't want to have to uninstall and go back to 3pro and lose $300 because of the time and effort involved in recreating all of these files. If i knew all of these files and work would be rendered useless after upgrading I never would have!

Please let me know if there is a workaround.

Thank you!!

PK3Pro files should open fine in PK4Pro. What exactly happens when you try to open them?

it doesn't seem to recognize them, maybe because the file extension says ".pkey3pro" instead of 4? When I try to open the files by right-clicking and opening them as photokey 4pro they work fine. I just can't click the file directly to open. hmm.

If you open the file menu in PhotoKey 4 Pro, and choose Open, then navigate to the file you want to open, will it open, or do you get an error message of some sort?

is it possible that the paths the pk3 file is referring to don't excist so the files are located in a different folder?

Therefore it could open the pk3 file but doesn't show any photos / frames because the location isn't available
