I have a question for you all...

In addition to the foreground and background layer I have a 3rd layer. I have several different foregrounds saved along with 1 specific background as a project. On some of these images the 3rd layer may be between the foreground and background and on others the 3rd layer will be the top most layer. I mark each image as unique.

What I’m noticing is this, when I change the 3rd layer to the top layer or set it between the fore and backgrounds, the last adjustment to the layer position will overwrite the previously set unique images.

Should it be doing that? In my opinion it should not, hence the uniqueness....

Anybody have a comment or suggestion

Thanks Richard

The Unique function doesn't affect every aspect of the image. Some particulars are still applied globally, such as the Background image, and the order of the layers. However, the visibility of each layer is controlled in the unique settings I believe. So, if you import two copies of your layer, and position one behind, and one in front of the foreground, then you can just turn the appropriate one on for each unique image. This should give the same end result as you are after.
