Hey Everyone,

I'm a mac-only person and accidentally bought Hitfilm and for me its kinda useless at the moment... while I figure that out, I decided to just get PhotoKey as well and see what it can do (since I already had the Green Screen delivered).

I'm a promo photographer from time to time and so decided to give the green screen and software a try for an upcoming christmas party for an event here in Dubai. Normally I shoot onto just a flat either black or white wall depending on what the overall mood will be, so green screen has definitely opened up backgrounds like below.

I gotta say... Photokey's simplicity and fairly good keying job right on Import kinda blew my mind.

Here's my using Photokey entirely for it.

Here's my using Photokey to PNG export and redoing it in photoshop.

And here's another one entirely also just done in Photokey.

Let me know what you think! smile

So far, the only issues I've noticed is in the first photo... there's a bit of a black "glow" thing going on... wasn't able to get rid of that in photo key (but did in Photoshop). The image itself is clean for that area, so it's not a shadow or anything. Any tips?

Second... the filters can be applied to foreground and background separately... nice... BUT... some of the effects (i.e., Bleach Bypass) can't be. I'd like to be able to select where the effects go as well. Foreground, Background or Both.

Hey Cypher! Always good to see creative use of PhotoKey. While it's a very specific, simple application it can be used to make striking images in the hands of a talented photographer/compositor.

Santa girl gas masks, eh? Interesting. smile

You can always give it to me wink

Anyway, nice pictures there. Very well done, but then again I don't know much about photo compositing.

Indeed. That's the signature thing of this event. Here's some of the "official" images they're using
