How do you alter the trancparancy of new added layers in a composite image ?

You can adjust the transparency of the Foreground in the Filters, using the Transparency tool. The layers in the Layers toolset cannot be adjusted, other than repositioning, so you would have to control their transparency by adjusting the alpha channel prior to importing them into PhotoKey.

Thanks Axeman . Do you know if I can adjust the Alpha Channels in CS5 ? This is all new to me

Yes. Photoshop will give you complete control over adjusting the lapha channels and transparency. If you open the file in Photoshop, and you have the contents as a Photoshop layer, over a transparent background, then its just a matter of adjusting the Opacity of the Photoshop layer to where you want it, then saving the image again.
