We purchased PhotoKey in 2008 and had it installed on a laptop, which we do not have anymore. I was able to install the software on my current computer and download the activation key, but get a message saying that the key is invalid.

Can I get a new activation key or have the old one deactivated so I can use the software again? We have an high-priority project that requires use of this software right away.

I tried contacting the people at, from whom we purchased the software, but they were no help referred me back here.

Is the new computer you are installing on offline? If it has an internet connection, you don't need to bother with the key file. Just choose the second option for activation in the Activation Wizard, "Login to my FXhome account" - and enter your email and password, and the key file and serial stuff will all be handled for you automatically.

If the computer is offline, then I'd recommend re-downloading the key from your account, following the instructions in this article. If that still doesn't work, please submit a support ticket, so we can make sure you get your keyfile, or work through whatever else needs to happen to get you up and running.

The activation key I'm using is the one that I downloaded. A ticket has already been submitted to support this morning.

Thanks, Axeman.
