I've noticed that there are 31 plugins not yet sorted into the
different categories.

Malone, do you need some assistance in sorting them in or
is it just a lack of time?

(I'm planning to compile an AlamDV-DVD this weekend (containing
_ALL_ the plugins and I'd like them to be in their proper place...))

Any plugins that dont fall into other categories I just place in the top "plugins" section. I pretty much use it as a misc category, you could make a proper misc dir on your dvd if you wanted.

We need some more categories really, some of the sections are getting a bit cramped. I will probably go through and recatorgorize everything at some point, but its a lot of work to move every plugin

Moreover sometimes it's hard to decide on a specific category
because a lot of plugins would fit into more than one...
Too bad Windows doesn't support links like Unix does...
And multiple copies are a waste of space...

I think alamdv would become quite distressed if you had the same plugin in 2 places anyway. It would be cool to do away with the drive directory style of category creation and actually put a way to sort your plugins into AlamDV.

On the website all the plugins go in one directory, then I store seperate info about which categories they are in. This lets me have plugins in multiple categories and makes it easy to rename them without having to change all the directory structure. A similar solution for a future version of AlamDV might be usefull.
