Hello. I have decided to make the contset any theme, and here are the official rules:

All films/trailers must be 1 minute mininum and 4 minutes max.
No film can have any type of cursing or innapropriate scenes.
The theme is anything you want.
Films can be made with any type of animation/characters (legos, people, action figures, ect...)
Films MUST have a good storyline/plot to have a better chance at winning.
Because this is a special effects contest, there must be atleast 6 special effects (muzzle flashes, explosions, force fields, ect...).
Any film exceeding the maximum time limit will be laughed at and promptly disqualified.
Try to keep the file size small.
If you were to add a blooper reel to your movie, please make it less that 10 megabytes and attach it to your movie. You might just get some bonus points for some goofs!
The first day I will take completed films is October 28, and the deadline for contest entries will be November 10. If anything needs to be changed with the dates I will change it later. This gives you 1 month, and 13 days to make you entry. If I left something out (which I might have) then I will come back later and fix it.

There are alot of judges! There is me, two of my friends, and everyone who watches the movies. The main vote will be the audience though. Each member of the audience (the people who aren't entering the contset) will watch each film until their eyes are bloodshot. No, I'm just kidding. But they will have to watch each movie. Then they will vote on which movie they though had the bets storyline, and which movie has the best special effects. Then my two friends and I will add up all the votes and average them. And you know how it goes from here.

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS CONTEST PLEASE ASK THEM HERE..

i am also in the middle of making a Faq of everything here. I may add more to the lsit of Rules, but for now they are like this. Tell me what you think! Bye!

EDIT: There is a 4 minute maximum time limit so that everyone can watch the movie if they are on T4 modem thing or a 14k modem. IF it were any higher and someone had a slow moden, it would take forever to downlaod. So that is why there is a time limit.

Cool. this could be fun. do it have to be under 4 minutes. i think it would be better to have it as long as u want it... a minimum is good.. but anyway, fun that something happens. biggrin

I was either (sleepy) or (hyper). You can even ask Malone[1] or TMM. I was very talkative in the chat room, but I mispelled alot of words.

[1] = I almost called Malone "MELON". HEHEHE.. lol Stupid me! And I like my little icon things like the sleeping guy and the jumping one.I don't remember where I got them though.

I am hosting this contest and no, it is not the Scopefest. This is a contest to see who can make a film/trailer with the best effects and the best storyline. It has been explained in another thread I made. It's seems like alot of other people are going to enter it though!! biggrin . The rules are above and it explains about the contest.

The Prize

Prize..... Hmmmmm. I don't know. I wouldn't be able to mail anybody anything like a t-shirt, because I am only a kid. I will make the prize a picture of you on the website I'll make to put the movies on, and I will have your movie come first in line with stars all around it, and I will post the site here! Is that good enough for you?\

Uploading

For the uploading part. You have a choice. You can't email me the movies because my inbox/outbox thing only allows up to 16 MB, so I would recomend this. If you want your movie to be a surprise to everyone here and you don't want them to see it until the judging time comes, then I suggest you go on over towww.geekshelf.com, sign up (it's free biggrin ), and post yor movie there.. But if you don't care when and who see's it, then you can stick with uploading to AlamDV2.com. Geekshelf is very good for uploading pictures and movies and alot more. I upload to www.brickshelf.com because I make lego movies. You can choose.

Copyrighted Themes

Yes. IT may be a copyrighted theme. I am using a copyrighted theme for my entry. I am using Star Wars. You are allowed. They have come out with lightsaber props, costumes, and things like that that are used in Star Wars movies, so if people cna play with them and use them, using them in a film and making a film about that should be perfectly fine. And Lego's... There are Lego Starwars that people make lego movies with. Why not go to www.lego.com/starwars and go to the screening room and see those movies. They are made with STAR WARS LEGOS. So it should be perfectly fine.

BUT REMEMBER, IF YOU HAVE ANY MORE QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS CONTEST, PLEASE POST THEM HERE AND I WILL ANSWER IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS.

Bye!
