Hi !

I am thinking that would be really cool have in the website a Tutorials section with AlamDV tutorials, After effects, etc & other compositing images that helps AlamDV users.

examples :

- How use AlamDV with other software
- Texts tutorials, for movies intros and endings.
- Sound & music tutorials, how setting the movies music.
- Authorin tutorials, how create movie CDs with AlamDV Movies, etc...
- Special FX section, etc...

AlamDV forever !!!

We already have this, its called google smile You can pretty much find tutorials on anything if you search a bit.

Theres also the ultimate links thread in the other forum which has links to pretty much any information you could possible want.

The AlamDV manual covers everything you ever wanted to know about the program (theres even specific tutorials near the end), and the forums cover all the other little tips and tricks.

And if you want to know something specific you can always ask our friendly community and one of them is bound to know about it

yeah, the alamdv info is cover in this website but we use more programs to composite and edit, I think that have a tutorial section with AlamDV tutorials to make especific scenes or other software aka Adobe AE, bluescreen tutorials, etc would be useful.

wink

There are very tutorials in the WWW, an good idea would be compiled in PDF ( with permission ) and put in tutorials section.

An index would be interesting :

1. AlamDV Tutorials .

- Lightswords, Fight choreography, magic, weapons, etc...
- Masking.
- Movie & TV section ( Star Wars , LOTR, star trek, etc... )
- etc...

2. Other software tutorials.

- Special FX with After Effects & Third party Plugins.
- Bluescreen/Greenscreen tutorials with After Effects , Primatte, Ultimatte, Combustion, etc...
- Sound edit tutorials, with add sound to a movie, etc.
- Capture tips.
- How make movie intros, endings...
- Morphing tutorials, warping, etc...
- 3D Rendering for use with movies.
- etc...

The posibilities are infinite, I think that the problem is that there are very tutorials in the web but have it in one website, indexed would be very useful ... the forum search would be more easy lol

More ideas ? biggrin

Regardas & sorry by my poor english !

Your describing a search engine smile Except it would be specialised towards video editing tutorials. If done properly it could be very useful, but it would take lots of effort and time to grow. If you could do it better than google I would be impressed.
