I was just sitting 'ere in front of my laptop pondering upon what types of plugins should be made and then it hit me - what we need are fire arrows. Look I know that some one is going to say well you could just put a fire plugin on the arrow plugin and move them in unison across the screen to give it that type of effect. But, it just won't and doesn't look genuine. I mean I tried it out with one of the torch plugins and an arrow plugin but it just doesn't give that atmospheric(you know where a space-capsule is coming out of orbit and it has that firey looking curl around it's bottom) effect on the tip of the arrow. I know that this plugin would be really hard to make but if you are up to the challenge(probably not a challenge for most of you) read on. what I need is the above in a view coming towards the camera at a slight upper right hand angle, an above view, a right side view, and a back view slightly to the left. the arrow needs to be spinning and try to make the effect loopable. a wooden arrow with dark brown tail fins and a silver tip. I know that it sounds(and I probably am) like I am being too particular but you can make it any way that you see fit just as long as it has the fire on the front--I am just making suggestions.

thanks for anything that any of you can do

Also like in braveheart where you see a big field of arrows flying through the sky. Firey and not firey!

Not to mention the splendid opening battle in Gladiator, which, if I recall correctly, had plenty of sky pyrotechnics i.e. flaming arrows smile The arching flight path of an arrow fired over a great distance would be hard to mimick in AlamDV2, however.
