Chopping Off Heads And Blowing Off PArnt OF Buildings

Ok im sure u need to blue screen to chop off body parts and stuff, but like say if u take a picture and make it look like ur blowing off part of a building do u need a blue screen for that or can u just cut and paste?

And one more thing will it look good if u use different plugins to make it look like ur missing a body part? say u take a blick wall and mask all ur body but ur head?? will that look good?

I seriously doubt that masks will be able to create a believable 'dismembered limbs' effect 'cos of the absence of gory stumps. I had the same problem when I did my head-choppin' experiment. Even after I created a 'gory disc' for use on those chopped-off areas, it still didn't look right. I think the only way of doing it well is 1) to use prosthetics; 2) to use lots of make-up esp. fake blood and flesh; and 3) to film against a blue/greenscreen biggrin
