I just uploaded my 1st attempt. It's split into 2 components: 'glow' and 'still'. Please read the plug-in description before downloading biggrin

Aww, you're welcome redface I think you'd better check out the plug-in first though - it might not live up to your expectations. I'm still a pretty lousy plug-in maker... I have to refine my methods biggrin

THIS is the tips read this

search for the glow plug-in, then when you make the plug-in, when it say, number of layer or something like it, then you type 2 (2layer), then, when it say attribute1 and 2, type glow_width and glow_hight or some thing like it. after that it will show effect script for layer 1, then go to border x, type attribute1*2.000 and border y type attribute2*2.000 and then continue and choose add pin then you continue with layer two.

WiRyPoCkEtLiNt, here's how I did my Kryptonite plug-ins:

I just took pictures of crystals from the Net, added alpha channels to each of 'em (selecting only the crystals, but I feathered the edges). I adjusted the Hue / Saturation and Brightness / Contrast settings to make the crystals green. I saved the results as TIFF files (with alpha channel information).

To create the glow layers, I lassoed the general shape of the crystals and created a radial gradient based on that shape (against a black background). I saved these as jpgs.

In the plugger, I specified the jpg Glow files as layer 1 (there are 2 layers in my Kryptonite plug-ins). In Attributes, I entered "Glow" in the 'Attribute#1 Name' slot to create a Glow slider. In the following form, I entered "attribute1*2.000" into the "Border X" and "Border Y" slots so that the Glow slider will control the size of the glow (just like the lightsaber glows). I then chose "Add pin".

The TIFF files are then specified as layer 2. I chose "Overlay Ink" because these files have alpha channels.

That's about it! I'm sorry I couldn't go into more detail, but I just found out that describing the process of plug-in creation is an absolute pain lol My tense and number agreement must've slipped up a couple o' times in the above...
