Dave ( wink ), a normal Movie-maniac boy is going to witness the biggest adventure in his life,
As normal Dave is up late watching movies at Friday night.
Suddenly he fall asleep and no body knows what can happen then;
When he wakes up, it turn up that he isn't in the real world.
He is the world of movies. Being hunt by Creatures, terminators,
Ghosts everything you can imagine.
And it's Dave's Fantasy that brings us to this great Action/Adventure motion picture from AjPictures & CO.

This Movie is an school project.. thats why not so heavy, not so much blod etc etc.
I will prolly upload an "Special Edition" on this movie. with some special things made bye Billy3D.
When i will upload this is a big question. its alot of things that i have to do in school, got some problems with my g/f. but it will come!
Its made in:
AlamDV
Premiere 6.0
Studio7
and of the cost of $2.5 and a pair of sun glasses.
Look at the VHS
Hope u like it! i do!

Nice effort there, I like the start and the end - I think those bits are quite effective.

However, the ghostbusters scene and the terminator scene seem a bit static, maybe you could shorten the cuts or something to build up some speed in those sequences.

The locations are quite nice - especially the car park.

The scream section is a little dark, but it isn't that scary and there really isn't any tension in the sequence. A lot of the camera angles are quite wide, which results in us knowning the pursuers location. Try a few more close ups, and full framing, because then viewer is always trying to find out where the pursuer is - if you don't know where your pursuer is it is a lot more scary. The key is to give the viewer enough information to know what is going on, but not enough to let them have a full grasp of the situation. Your editing is quite well handled in this scene, though.

It is quite good to see a full film with a story and everything, and although there isn't any real narrative or speech, my interest was kept until the end.

Keep up the good work and tell us what grade you got for this film! Good luck sorting out your g/f troubles!

Ok, here are a couple of random thoughts:

1) Deinterlace, deinterlace, deinterlace! I think I'm going to be the bona fide AlamDV evangelist of deinterlacing from now on 'cos I've seen too many films ruined by the failure to deinterlace biggrin;

2) Nice shriek (upon seeing the Scream stalker)!;

3) Lovely rendition of 'Imagine' during the opening sequence;

4) Nice camera angles during the opening and Scream sequences;

5) As Monkey Man noted, the Terminator scene was a little static - the hero looked almost *gasp* bored biggrin;

6) Abrupt cuts from scene to scene: better transitions could've been used;

and finally,

7) Nice locale selection in general: the classroom was a little cheesy but the other locations were cool biggrin

Good job!

Notice how there seem to be lines running across your footage whenever there's movement? That's caused by interlacing. These lines are not v. visible on TVs, because TVs were designed to playback interlaced footage. Computer monitors, on the other hand, were not designed to handle interlaced footage, hence the very visible scan lines.

Here are a few links that go into the topic in-depth:

First, I give a zero to the Neon Night because it was borring! A teaser is suppose to make you say : Wowww! eek I want to see this movie!
But this teaser just made me sleep sad

And for your movie it could be a lot better!
-Scary scene was not scary and way too much dark crazy
-Terminator scene too slow and too short in the same time
-Abrupt cuts from scene to scene tard

I only like the start and the end and I also laugh when the killer doesn't understand lol good acting for the scream guy

2 stars for me

god damn it! That was horrible!
Why didn't I think of that: Shoot a short vid in the dark, so you can't see how bad it is.
Also, what's with starting the thing with a minute of "I'm falling asleep". Unless you'd have written it in your little intro written thing, I would never have gotten it. Oh, and did I mention it was a little DARK?!?!?!?

why why why?
Tell me why?
and don't forget to get your head in front of the shotgun.

It would have been very good. Apart from the fact that the shotgun used seemed to only spray a single bullet? When in life they spray 5-7 shells.

Just to let you know. smile

Oh, some of the camera angles in the chase scenes were brilliant! Maybe could have been a bit more 'dangerous' with the camera angles? (from the POV of the Scream dude).

Worth the watch though. smile

That edited lighting was used for the effect of the scene, it would have looked to bright and not 'together' if realistic lighting 'daytime' was kept.

I think...biggrin

er-no.
yeah. i made all the scenes much darker on the computer and actuly almost took away all the sound becouse like in the woods it was raning, in the classroom there was alot of childeren outside screamin in the Terminator scene there was car passing by. so i had to add music almost all the time in the movie, and i think that was pretty good anyway.
anyway i would love to see some movies from both bob page n that stupido donny darko and watch how a good movie should be.
I actuly think this movie became real good and i have gotten alot of fanmails from other who think that to so i dont really care what thoose guys thinks. unsure

Good that you don't care what they say.

You shouldn't. Anything you make and think is good is good.

Its your work and at least you have done it and worked hard.

Keep making stuff. If its enjoyable to you NEVER stop. smile

Hi!

I just gave the points that you could make a lot better in your movie
It's not because I don't have a movie on Alamdv site that I cannot tell you what could be a lot better in your movies! unsure

so please next time, think before writing smile

My comment is that this movie could be a way lot better by correcting the points I said before wink

Better luck for your next movies
