I dont think a picture with a few effects would take a lot of skill or thinking.
Maybe you should make it a little more complex and say it has to be a drawing or something.

I dont see the point of getting out a digital camera, putting on an outfit, and adding an effect - too easy and useless, sorry neutral

Still pics? Wha? If you're going to use alam effects, you might as well just make a movie clip. . .

No. I voted it was a good idea. And I do think it is pretty good. But the image should have to have more than one effect or something, to make it more challenging. confused

You take a picture and use Alam to add effects and it will be a contest to see who can make the better pic. Right? confused

Hmm. I would, but.... I don't thiny many people would enter, because it seems a bit easy. How about you have to make a slideshow of pics with effects or something? And different effects for each picture?? That sounds a little more challenging that just one picture biggrin .

EDIT: Btw, I will probably do it soon, if you decide to change the contest to that or something.

ahhh... I voted bad - not 'cuz I think an image/drawing competition is a bad idea but I just don't think it really goes with what Alam is all about...

…now if the premise of the competition was revised a bit and was narrowed down to something more specific like a movie poster or video jacket competition then I think it would flow a little better…

no Alam effects but if you want to see some pics of movies I’ve starred in… lol http://www.jerrypaquette.com/jp/movie_pics/index.htm
you can see where my Avatar images comes from biggrin
