Hi all,

I was wondering where I could find or get sound effects for my light sword's and was wondering how to overlay the sound effects and what prog should I use.

Any help will do cheers

This has been discussed many times, dude: you can get a load of lightsaber sounds off Theforce.Net: http://cgi.theforce.net/theforce/multimedia/imageFolio.cgi?direct=Audio

To overlay sounds in sync with your movie, you'd have to use an NLE with such a capability e.g. Premiere, FCP, Edition DV, Avid DVxpress...etc smile

I followed those sound fx links, but the majority of effects from places like Findasound.com sound really lame, hissy and all in mono. I'm keen to know where the Alamdv team get their sounds, particularly gun shots and lightsabers as the clips in films like 'The Test' sound excellent. Talking of fx, what about copyright problems? Surely sticking films up on the net using music and effects culled from elsewhere could lead to them getting kicked off at the least.
