I've been fooling around with the demoverion of Alam DV for a few days now and I must say that I'm quite impressed.
I'll definately buy the program as soon as the pay check drops in. smile

Here is something I did while trying it out:

Is there any way of just blurring the effects without blurring the rest of the film by the way?

Are there any muzzle flashes available with more smoke in them than the ones available in the free download version of Alam?

I have a feeling of that you'll be seeing a lot of me in here in the future, asking stupid question. wink

Ask away! The program is great. There currently is no way of blurring just the effect in the program but 1. I think that may be coming. 2. You could blur the pics in photoshop and make a new plug-in!

There are lots of new muzzle flashes so one of them might work for you or you can add some smoke or, one of the things that make this program so cool, just ask someone and they will make it for you! One time I need a guy parachuting, in less than 5 hours some guy made it for me (b4uask30male!) Cool, huh! cool

Thanks for the answers. I took a closer look in the plug-in archive soon after posting the above and noticed a few muzzle flashes that looked good and "smokey" according to the pictures.

Hi!

I'm also about to purchase alamdv - It's good innit?

I want to see your test but I can't be bothered to wait for the 27 meg download. Any chance of a smaller version ie a divx etc...
