Guys,

Its Sunday evening and I am bored, so lets make some conversation.

Any of you lot go clubbing on London ?

If so which are your favourite clubs ?

I got totally wrecked last night and as a result missed a date with a lovely lady I met last week.

Did I tell u my claim to fame is I once walked upto Brigitte Nelson and asked her for a dance when I was in the Hippodrome. She was huge like some amazon warrior. Anyway she just looked down at me as though I was some dwarf and just stared. I decided this was not a good idea and walk away.

My claim to fame biggrin

cool, ( i hope it wasn't my fault yesturday that you missed your lady friend )

I don't go clubbing, i'm having to edit a film with that famous guy curran.

( My claim to fame ( good idea for a subject +1 )
I was looking on icq and just sending messages to any girls, and i got a message back from sweetpea, she said go away.
I said " why, you must be sad, let me cheer you up "
" you have no idea who i am do you " she said, " no " i said
" I am a film star " she said i said " i'm tom cruise "

we spoke for months and one day she said i'm going to tell you who i am, ( she had been building this up for ages )
" Ashley Judd "
i said " and who is that ( i honestly didn't know )
my mum and sisters are in a band, " sorry, still don't know "
i think she was gutted i didn't know her.
she was the real one as she sent me a webcam pic ( to prove it i told her to do the volcan sign )
Anyway we lost touch ( after i asked her if she ever comes to england would she star in a film for me ).

I don't live in England, so hitting clubs in London is out of the question biggrin But I do club quite a bit in my own country. Unfortunately, I'm rather shy by nature, so I usually end up sitting in a corner, drinking myself silly cry

My claim to fame? None, because I haven't worked up enough guts to approach a girl so far... I suck (not literally, of course), dudes... redface

...... I tend to hit the SlimeLight club at angel,
central London.. anyone here know of it ? If I want to stay local I go to Edwards here in Croydon.
My claim to fame ? Being on liquid news cos my gurl back
the was a dead ringer for Angelina Jolie. We were at the TR premiere and they did a little article on fans looking like their idols.

I don't do clubbing. Reason being I can't stand dance music. I'm a nu-metal/rock/metal/rap/rap-metal fan, so clubbing is out of the question. I used to do pub crawls on a weekend when I was 18, but I can't be bothered anymore.
People think I'm a freak because I don't go to clubs. But who care about them. Each to his own. 1 man's treasure is another man's junk.

Mate,

Theres a couple of cool bars in Wimbeldon. My favourite is "The Bar" theres a cosy night club just across the road.

I actually live in Surbiton. Kingston has some good bars to go out to. Especially near the riverside.
U ought to check these places out oneday smile

Still havent checked that club u mentioned, maybe in the new year.

Last night I went to The Works in Kingston.

Its ok, nothing compared to the clubs in Newquay but I don't think its the same 'holiday' environment.

Anyways, places in Wimbledon do rule as the atmosphere is calm and great, and the Famous Wimbledon High School girls are lush.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....

'Ahem'.

Can't wait for when I am officially 18 wink

I used to spend a fair bit of time in Surbiton back in 97/98, but I am a familiar face in Kingston, used to go clubbing at that place with the 'alley-way' walk to it, can't remember the name, you know what i mean though. Last time I was there we were drunk enough to go to that club that is housed with the Cinema, but we snapped out of it before getting to the ticket door. Now days if we venture to Kingston we tend to hit the Slug & Lettuce.

Dont know this place, there again I spent half of my life living in the north of england. I have found that people are generally more chilled out up north. smile when it comes to going out and having a good time.

So tellme whats Sutton like for going out ?

Just arrived back from a night at Leicster Square. Some of the places their were quite cool, Oxygen club gets my vote for the best though and then the SOUND bar was a decent place to chill afterwards.

Go early, its cheaper. smile

It's OK (Ish) well.. there are plenty of bars.. we have Chicagos and next to that is some club whose name escapes me but it's full of dreggs. On the other side you have 'Long Island Ice Tea shop' which used to be Rat&Parrot. There's Cafe Mango where I spent Xmas eve and around dthe corner there is the big club, Legends, which used to be a three screen Cinema. The attitude in Sutton however sucks and it's full of peroxide blonde chicks, I prefer keeping company in Croydon, the girls are friendlier and there are a lot of Indian gurls there so you can be sure of being surrounded by attractive girls.

Lots of indian girls ?? smile

Tellme more..I can never find a place where indian girls hang out.

Can anyone give me advice in this area ?

Avoid these peroxide blondes mate. They are just plain trouble.

What are Sutton girls like ? I hear they are rough like doberman pinchers.

To everyone on this forum, be very wary of peroxide blondes. The worst ones are those from the east end of london. They are likely to bite your head off.

My God... Suttons rep has travelled !!!
Yeah.. the gurls there look OK but they all come from the same mould, mainly plastic looking. I have been living in Croydon for two years now and the girls there are all of mixed races, some white, some black and some Indian. By far the Indian girls are the cutest but if they are in a crowd they keep to themselves. Tiger Tiger is the best club to hit but if you don't look the bizz entrance can be difficult !! Edwards is good for the cute Indian chicks also, specially on a Fri night.

Think I have been there, (Tiger Tiger) its the one with the lounge on the top right ?. I recall going there one saturday night. It was totally completed packed out.
I was just about legless, after downing loads of Mai Thais at that Cocktail bar in Covent gardens. Dont remember much about it though sad

Tiger Tiger in Croydon is amazing.. the content..well..yeah.. u get the gist. Edwards next to it is also worth a look. Lloyds No1 next to Ed's is good for cheap food and drinks. That whole area has atracted a lot of attention. 'Pals' (Which was the hotspot back in 2001) up the road is now a graveyard.

SlimeLight would'nt apeal to everyone, but it would be cool biggrin .
Tiger Tiger would be a good bet but you have to get there real early and go in small groups since the door policy is somewhat 'fussy'. There is this tacky lil club called 'Hombres' if ur looking for.. u know.. but err.. no.. so longa s i'm surrounded by some cute gurls I'm up for anywhere.

Hey Guys,

Vega is right. When are we going to Tiger Tiger ? come on you budding talented film makers.

Lets all meet in Tiger Tiger and chat about making movies and drool at the women.

How about we convince the girls at the bar to star in our next "last tango" movie.

That place called 'The Bar' in Wimbledon on the high street is pretty good on saturday night biggrin biggrin . Wimbledon is pretty chilled out though. Kingstons got some nice bars near the river.

London is a different kettle of fish
