The next big step in the life of CSB-Digital has been taken.

Today we issued the press release for AlamDV2, informing the world of its immediate release on CD-ROM in Europe (AlamDV2 will still be available to buy as an online download from this website, both inside and outside Europe).

Click here to read the press release.

This is a vital time for us, a time that will influence all current and future CSB-Digital products, taking us boldly forwards and paving the way for new and exciting developments. Boxed versions of AlamDV2 should start shipping in the first week of January from mail order companies, appearing on shelves in shops soon afterwards.

Being the first time one of our products has been widely available in a boxed format in Europe, this is quite a momentous occasion for all of us here at CSB and we'd like to offer our thanks to all of you for your continued support and fantastic contributions to the AlamDV community. We couldn't have done it without you.

The press release has been sent out to as many media, business and educational establishments as we knew about. If you know of any schools, companies or publications that may be interested in AlamDV2, we would very much appreciate it if you could point them towards the press release, which can be found at:

http://www.csb-digital.com/alamdv/about/pressrelease.php

Thanks again to everyone for your enduring support. We hope you continue to enjoy using AlamDV2 for a long time to come, especially with the forthcoming v2.5 free upgrade.

Cheers,

Schwar, Malone, Tim, Tarn.

Thanks for all the support guys...

I wish it was that easy, but money seems to be a pretty hard thing to make when you are a small company like us. Well as long as we can pay the wages so malone can eat cake its all ok biggrin .

If you can think of some friends or websites that might be interested, or even your school/college then please email them about press release.

It is important that we get AlamDV2 in the pubic eye.

Thanks for all your help guys, as Tarn said, we couldn't have done it without you.

Isn't it funny how Andreas always has a cake near by with words about the occasion?

Anyway, great job guys on FINALLY get it out there in a box. I wish the best of luck, and i have some people waiting to buy the box set over here in Canada, so hurry the "F" up! biggrin

"We couldn't have done it without you"

well, i hope your not talking about me, i haven't really done anything, cept try to steal one of malone's cakes...that's why i think he hasn't replied to a single message of mine in over 4 months...meanie. wink

In the words of the great "Coop" and "Sir Swish Reemer" (and a few other before them, like my constantly spaced out wandering-fool of a guy Video Teacher)......."sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet duuude!"

You tried to steal one of Malone's cakes?

Wow...you're a braver man than me.

The one time I even dared to glance in the general direction of one of his cakes, he gauged out one of my eyes with a spoon.

At the moment we're all very busy making Chromanator, then there will be the OS X version of AlamDV2 as well as other things... But it is still something we are considering, maybe when we have more time we'll get around to doing it.

We have all been there about selling plug's on CD - end result pointless, let's just enjoy what CBS has given us, a gift to use our imagination and some really cool viewings.

"We Goldmembers have access to all area's and it should stay that way"

I am new (ish) to AlamDV, but have watched from a far, the team has leaped and climbed their way up the ladder.

I wish you all the luck and well done for going to the next step.

I will be hard at work over the chrimbo period, preping my idea's for a film, as (Fingers crossed mad ) I will be getting a DV cam corder then and will be almost 100% ready to get going, just got to fine tune how to use AlamDV and it's hard without a Cam corder sad cry

Anyway CBS team- Go get em and dont let us Goldmembers down.
