Ok. I was getting a bronze medal for my spot light plugin, but when I was testing it out before I submitted, it happened... I got a Quicktime error message when trying to just load any still image into Alamdv saying it is not updated or something, and then the screen went black for about 10 seconds, and then a blue screen came on with a message like this:

A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent any damage.

If this is the first time you have seen this error message, restart your computer. If this message comes up again, do the following:

blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
That is what I got. So then I restarted my computer and it was going REALLY SLOW, so my dad tried to delete the cache. It wouldnt let him delete it because it gave an error message that said, "You cannot delete these files. Windows needs them to operate" or something, so we couldnt do that. SO then, the only thing to do was install Windows XP again... We did that, which took about 30-45 minutes, and then eventaully Windows was working fine! And I hope it stays this way, too!

EDIT: Ok. So I have made the plugin again and am waiting for Malone to look at it. Im talking to him right now, and he will be back in 5 more minutes, so Ill wait that long. I just found out that the problem was the plugin i made... It was really odd in Malones oppinion and kind of ugly IMO, so i am glad i deleted it... Bye!

you should never make plugins quickly, spend the maximum time trying to tweak the easiest of all plugins other wise u may pass by problems like looping, quad's etc. It allways happens to me cry

Great advice, Billy biggrin (+1) I spend a lot of time creating my plug-ins and always give 'em a test run through AlamDV2 before posting 'em here. Even then, some problems can get by unnoticed, and it's always heartbreaking to see something you thought was perfect end up being decidedly imperfect cry

Another +1 Billy, yeah, my first 30...40 (dont remember) plug-in, i creat it super fast, dont care about the alpha channel and all sort of thing, i just upload and get bronze or nothing but after that i realize that quality is better then quantity as "b4uask","moe" told me,(i also look at moe and axemen profile cause their both plug-in get gold award witch is my target and i fund that the quality of their plug-in is superb) then i start to creat all my plug-in with alpha channel and try to creat an original plug-in (homemade) and some are modifyed from particale illusion and try to make it high-res , if the plug-in is pixelate i will try to make it a bit blur so it will look better(not too blur but perfect) and now i get bronze and sometime i get silver lol so remember about the quality of the plug-in then quantity biggrin
