Hi

I've finished the Film " Call it a Stargate EARTHBOUND " and anyone in the UK, can have the DVD free ( inc postage ) it comes with the first film and outtakes and making of ( the making of includes how I made plugins for use in the film so this might be of use to people wanting to learn )

I have submitted the film on Alamdv but it's on geekshelf so it's a bit slow.

People wanting it from another country I can gladly send a disc with all the bits on ( but it will be AVI files or a PAL only DVD) as i would not have time to convert the dvd's to NTSC etc.

PM, with a postage address and i will ship them out next week.

P.s In total there is 4 alamdv users in this film
er-no, curran, flameboy, b4uask30male.

PPS
this film was edited with Pinnacle studio 7, and is the last film i edit with that as it only has 2 sound tracks.

Wow! Talk about generosity. I really should come on this forum more often. Some of the nasty trash-bags that are on some of the forums I go on make me sick. I downloaded your other film 'Call it a stargate' off another website.
I'm not really a Stargate fan, but I downloaded it anyway. even though I'm on a 56k modem. I thought it was pretty cool. Not bad acting either, and you had a fair amount of dialogue too. Costumes were good, it really does give films that extra something, when you bother to use costumes.

Hi

er-no is trying to get a fast server than the geekshelf, so as soon as i get the link i will give it to you. lol

The t-rex scene in the first one ( i can do better now, it's all a learning process ) but i don't have the original footage no more, same with this film, once I made back ups of the file and making of then i will delete all the raw footage.

But thanks for thinking about it. wink

Woah, I have people I know going to download it too.
I hope I don't blow my server bandwidth apart.

Finally managed to download 'Earth Bound'. yeahhhhh !! biggrin biggrin biggrin

I want to first congratulate everyone on the first rate acting. er-no acting is excellent. The way he came across it almost seemed it was natural to him.

I have to honestly say that I found the first SG episode funnier then then this one. Though the special effects for the second one made up for this.

There was a point in a scene where people were actually firing their guns and showing recoil, yet there was no muzzle flashes coming out of thier guns.

The guns looked pretty real despite the fact they were toys smile

The sound seemed to appear and dissapear when the 'asrack' attacked er-no. Guess thats because of the compression/file format used right ?

All in all a great movie !! well done B4 !! keep them coming !. biggrin biggrin

P.S It was really wierd to see me on camera biggrin

Shall we put B4 forward for an Oscar Lads ??

Hi

thanks curran..
the sound is fixed on the dvd version, wink
the jokes... your right i had planned loads more, but as you know the time come and went so quick and the weather stopped a lot of times.

the recoil, your right, but...... i noticed that sometimes someone was in the way of the other shooting, so i thought i better not add that otherwise people would say ( like they did in the first film wink ) he would have shot his mate.

You ll done well acting, we all didn't know each other and it must have been hard for you guys to come to a strange place in the cold and say these lines.
you guys should get the awards.

B4,

U know the point where the alien ship fires at Major Hammond when he walks up and attempts to negiotate, at that point the ship reacts by firing a laser blast at him. It might have been a good idea to use a 'burning flame' plugin on the grass nearby, to show the scorch of the lazer blast if u see what i mean.

It was really surreal. Very strange indeed. Infact I thought I was going to wake up at one point because I was surrounded by complete strangers and you were using my camera and well... it wasn't a problem at all but it was a distant cry from my normal saturdays.

I was pleased with the final shot of me looking at the craft, I have had a few people comment on how good I did that. I am very pleased smile Also, the huge jump back I took when I landed on the gun. That was funny and is now my Windows background.

Definetely do it again b4uask. With a script so we can practice and meetings or something... that would be cool. smile

Well... Thanks for the compliment back there curran smile
