Hi there!

I'm relatively new to AlamDV, I've been posting only for a few times long ago. My face should be known, though, as the leading character in sollthar's "Face To Face" (yes, the one looking like "a young Sly Stallone, as someone said...! wink).

To make things short: I'm still using the AlamDV Demo version, mainly caused due a lack of money and time, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy it in the middle of 2003 (after hopefully receiving my law degree). However, even if only having the demo, for test reasons, I made a "Heavy Fire" plugin from some movie footage. It's main usage would be for a burning building, where "standard" fire plugins would look strange or too "harmless". In fact, if someone remembers, I took it from the beginning of "Project Peacemaker" with George Clooney and Nicole Kidman, where you can see a burning train. The detail footage itself is from a heavy fire emerging a window.

As I'm not very skilled yet in making plugins, especially handling alpha channels, I made two different versions, one "standard", which is pretty bright, and an version with alpha channels, which is, however, a little too transparent.

So my suggestion is that I would send the pics to somebody skilled enough to make a good looking plugin of it. I think it could be useful to some of you, as I didn't see a similar one in the plugin section.

Ok, now to the second part, a little request by myself...

Would it be possible for someone here to send me a black smoke plugin...let's say...for exchange? I'll give my plugin to you anyway, but it would be really nice if I could combine my plugin with some black smoke and see how it's gonna look like. Let me say that it's really only for test purposes. And if would lie, I'm sure Sollthar would hunt me personally and hit me hard! wink

I hope I didn't upset anyone here. I promise that I'm going to buy the full version as soon as possible.

Greets

I dont really think we can give you the actual plugin, as I think that is breaking the rules, but I do think that we can give you images of the plugin for you to make into a plugin yourself. Anyone wanna clarify this?

"Ich verstehe nicht ein Wort von, was Sie sagen, aber es sichere Töne kühlt ab!"

if "I not understand one word about, what you say, but it sure sound cooled down!" is what you wanted to say, than it worked... smile

Hahaha! Close enough! What I meant to say was: "I don't understand a word of what you're saying, but it sure sounds cool!"

"Cooled down" does sound pretty hip though: it's like a mixture of "cool" and "down with it" lol

So, Sollthar my good man, you're truly "cooled down"! wink
