If your looking for a no sense, weird , no order action demo, that even the same guys who fought during all the movie are in the same car at the end... You've come to the WRONG PLACE! This is a pulse-pounding, non-stop thriller, a complete story that will make you love and hate Lego!

So after one year of endless wait, I finally finish my Leog animation "Worst Case Scenario". What happen is that after watching a lot of Lego animation (not all of them) I realize none of them had an amazing story. So I thought and I thought to finally invent a story ball proof if you know what I mean.

Ok here's the story :

Two guys are in the Maffia, Boss and Oto. They want to release Bob Page a friend of them and also a ex Maffia man. The man at the head of the Maffia is Big B. I won't tell you more...

P.S. after everal Private Messages about "please do your next animation film in english", I decided to talk in english (cause as you may know I'm french ; ) but I made Oto speak in french, so if you understand french it will be more funny for you. But don't panic if you don't understand french cause I made some english subtitles.

ENJOY!

Hey

Great animation...liked the movement

The lens flare on the helmet visor when being lifted was great!
I didn't really understand the end that much.
The background movement was good. While some guy talked seeing the guys move in the background really gave it a real effect.

Effort- 5
Effects- 3
Story- 4
Movement/Animation - 5

Overall comes to like 4 and a half....damn not being able to vote with half stars!

4/5 great job!

redface did not see that bit about swearing.....

had the volume up loud redface

i loved the bit where he talks to the camera and the other guy says who are you talking to ..

great stuff.

totally worth my vote of 3.

well done

(edit, i agree the swearing wasn't needed, i would have liked to have shown my little 8 year.)

Superb stuff, Bob Page! I enjoyed every second of it! Otto is the coolest dude ever to grace the AlamDV cinema biggrin The dialogue reminds me a lot of "Taxi"... very quirky, yet strangely stylish lol

The only part I didn't like was the unnecessary profanity... confused

Loved the "commercial". I agree with others that the swearing was unnecessary, and detracted.

I would move Otto's subtitles to the bottom of the screen and do them in white with a slight shadow. And maybe change your background color when you move to a new set. I sometimes had trouble knowing where I was.

I didn't care about the profanity.

I'll give you the five, but I personally didn't prefer the cursing. Especially the same word three times in a row.

Very well animation...!
Stop and go takes ages to do, so a huge compliment for that... I loved the fightsequences, they were veeeeeery cool... And I liked the depth of field... some shots looked pretty nice!
I'm swiss... and as one I have no problem with swearing... smile

But, to be honest... I didn't get the story... i'v seen it 3 times now but I don't get it... sad

But I give it 5 stars anyway as I think the effort on the animation is worth it. smile

That was pretty good - this was much better then your average lego movie. The FPS was pretty constant which helped a ton -

Not bad at all. But 5 stars?

?

This movie is good, but not that good.

Bob- I must say I busted out laughing several times- not just your normal "snicker-ha that's funny" laughs but those "buwahhaahaaahaa" outbursts that gets the wife going "hey tone it down in there. I'm trying to watch Trading Spaces." You get the idea. There is just something wickedly funny about seeing Lego guys kill each other. And Oh My God! The guy getting the ax thrown in his head! That was too funny- And the beginning with the guy dreaming about "Adrenaline"- What a riot! Really funny stuff.

Technically it was pretty rough. The music needed better transitions and levels. It just kind of started and stopped abruptly in several places. Kinda jarring especially in the beginning. The video transitions were also a little rough. The first frame of video being actual footage wasn't good- Try to start from black and use some cross dissolves for some smoother transitions. I don't know what kind of camera and lights you were using, but the footage all looks red to me. Unless you were going for some kind of artsy- washed out- surface of Mars- red filter look, you could have stood to use some color correction. And yeah- Sollthar is right on the money about the story... I didn't get it , but I'm not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed either.

Oh, and what was with the green backdrops? Were you going to do some keying or something and put other backdrops in there or what?

I must say that I haven't a clue how to do stop motion filming but it must be a ton of work and I appreciate that. Excellent job and keep up the good work!

Oh and Mecha- is there really a difference between Sucks-Poor-and Unsatisfactory? lol

Thanks, and yes I was having the idea of putting other backdrops with keying but my green wall was not good at all for keying... So I left them green.

And for the red color, it's probably my old camera. I'm trying to find a new one...

I've seen a few of the Lego movies and loved them all....this one rides with top ones without doubt.
This is an absolute example of effort and hard work, plus of course many other attributes, paying off.

Great stuff "Bob"......5 stars.
